York Rite Freemasonry is a collection of independent Masonic bodies and degrees. The York Rite has supported some charities, including:

• Royal Arch Research Assistance: A national charity that supports children with Central Auditory Processing Disorders (CAPD)
  
• Cryptic Masons Medical Research Foundation: A national charity that supports people with vascular disorders
• Knights Templar Eye Foundation: A national charity that supports sight preservation and blindness prevention
• Holy Land Pilgrimage Fund: The Holy Land Pilgrimage Fund is used to pay the expenses of sending a Minister to the Holy Land under the sponsorship of the Grand Encampment of Knights Templar
